CULNU/NULIB Meeting held at University of Calabar, Calabar, Cross River State Nigeria, April 2009

Decisions taken at the meeting concerning NULIB are:

Individual University Librarians (ULs)are to appoint e-resources persons, latest May 15th, 2009, who will be communicating with Dr. Akintunde of UniJos or Mrs. K. Jagboro of OAU, (e-Resources Specialists), on effective e-resources usage. ULs should send the names, e-mail addresses, institutions and GSM tel. phone of their appointed e-resources persons to D. Bozimo at dbozimo@yahoo.com

University Librarians, on return to their institutions, should intensify their efforts with their Vice Chancellors, follow through and pay the NULIB's stipulated individual university levy for e-resources subscription/renewal as soon as possible.  This should be paid into 'NULIB Consults Nig. Ltd.' account in any branch of the Guaranty Trust Bank in Nigeria

A website, created for NULIB since 2007, has had its management extended until April 2011. ULs should visit the website regularly for news about NULIB/CULNU and other information at www.nulib.net
